is an experienced rug hooker and teacher, having hooked since
1975. She has designed and hooked hundreds of rugs, traveled
and sold rugs at major folk art shows from Minnesota to Maine,
been named to Early American Lifeís Best Craftsmen
List, and had rugs pictured in Country Living
and Rug Hooking Magazine.
Working in a free primitive style with wide strips,
high-pile hooking, and rich colors, she produces both rustic and
impressionistic rugs. She resides in Carroll County, Maryland
and works in her Woolie Gardyn Studio surrounded by stacks and
stacks of wool fabrics and hooking supplies, which she loves.
