About Ramona

Ramona is an experienced rug hooker and teacher, having hooked since 1975.  She has designed and hooked hundreds of rugs, traveled and sold rugs at major folk art shows from Minnesota to Maine, been named to Early American Lifeís Best Craftsmen List, and had rugs pictured in Country Living and Rug Hooking Magazine.

Working in a free primitive style with wide strips, high-pile hooking, and rich colors, she produces both rustic and
impressionistic rugs.  She resides in Carroll County, Maryland and works in her Woolie Gardyn Studio surrounded by stacks and stacks of wool fabrics and hooking supplies, which she loves.
